In 2011, Royal Caribbean will have ten cruise ships in Europe. Choose European cruises from Barcelona, Malaga, Civitavecchia, Venice or many other options.

Royal Caribbean will increase its cruises in Europe for 2011. According to a March 2010 Royal Caribbean press release, there will be ten RCI cruise ships deployed in contrast to the eight cruise ships cruising in Europe during 2010. Cruise ships will depart from a selection of ports in Spain, Italy, England.

Mediterranean Cruises From Spain

Cruises from Barcelona, Spain – The Liberty of the Seas will offer their 7-Night Western Mediterranean Cruise departing from Barcelona, Spain from May 2011 through October 2011. Ports of call will include Provence (France), Villefranche (France), Livorno (Italy), Civitavecchia (Italy) and Naples (Italy). The Brilliance of the Seas will also be offering a number of alternate cruise routes from Barcelona.

Cruises from Malaga, Spain – The Adventure of the Seas will offer their 7-Night Western Mediterranean Cruise departing from Malaga from May 2011 through September in 2011. Ports of call will include Valencia (Spain), Civitavecchia (Italy), Livorno (Italy) and Corsica (France). Passengers can also choose to embark from Valencia, Spain instead of Malaga, Spain.

Cruises from Palma de Mallorca, Spain – The Grandeur of the Seas will offer two alternating seven-night cruises from May 2011 to October 2011, departing from Palma de Mallorca. The 7-Night Spanish Mediterranean Cruise will feature the ports of Barcelona, Ibiza, Malaga and Gibraltar (UK). The 7-Night Italian Mediterranean Cruise departing from Palma de Mallorca will stop at Cannes/Monte Carlo (France), La Spezia, Civitavecchia and Palermo, Italy.

Cruises from Venice, Italy – The Voyager of the Seas will offer their 7-Night Adriatic Sea Coastal Cruises from May 2011 until October 2011 departing from Venice, Italy. European cruise ports of Koper (Slovenia), Ravenna (Italy), Bari (Italy) and Dubrovnik (Croatia) will be included.

Cruises from Civitavecchia, Italy – The Navigator of the Seas will feature the 7-Night Eastern Mediterranean Cruise from May 2011 through September 2011, departing from Civitavecchia, Italy. Stops on this Med cruise will include Messina (Italy), Piraeus (Greece), Kusadasi (Turkey), Chania (Greece) and Crete (Greece).

Cruises from Genoa, Italy – The Mariner of the Seas will offer their 7-Night Western Mediterranean Cruise in July and August 2011. Embarking passengers in Genoa, Italy, this Mediterranean cruise will visit Cannes (France), Corsica (France), Barcelona (Spain), Palma de Mallorca (Spain) and Civitavecchia (Italy).

European Cruises From England

Royal Caribbean Cruise to Russia – The Jewel of the Seas will offer their 12-Night Scandinavia and Russia Cruise departing from Harwich, England. A selection of dates is available from May 2011 to August 2011. This European cruise stops at Copenhagen (Denmark), Stockholm (Sweden), Helsinki (Finland), Talinn (Estonia), Gothenburg (Sweden) and an overnight in St. Petersburg (Russia).

Cruises from Southampton, England – The Independence of the Seas will offer their 11-Night Spain and Canary Islands Cruise on select dates from March 2011 until October 2011. Departing Southampton, England, this cruise in Europe will feature the ports of Vigo (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), Las Palmas and Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Funchal (Portugal) and La Coruna (Spain).

When choosing a cruise to Europe consider that most of these cruises are offered in summer. One of the only Royal Caribbean cruise ships that will cruise in Europe in January and February 2011 will be the Independence of the Seas. It will offer 18-night Mediterranean cruises.
