Getting to Royal Caribbean Cruise Terminal 10 at Port Canaveral

From Orlando International Airport – It’s about 46 miles from the airport to Port Canaveral. Royal Caribbean cruise passengers can take a ship’s organized shuttle from the airport. Alternatively, car rentals and taxis are also available at the airport.

Parking at Port Canaveral – For those that bring their own car, parking is available in the garage across from Cruise Terminal 10 for $15 per day.

Caribbean Cruises on Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas

The Freedom of the Seas carries more than 3,600 passengers and is 160,000 tons. It features an ice skating rink, a rock climbing wall, a surfing simulator, expansive children and teen facilities, and numerous places to eat, such as the specialty restaurant, Chops Grille.

  • Eastern Caribbean Cruises – The Freedom of the Seas cruises year-round out of Port Canaveral, departing on alternating Sundays. Ports of call include Cococay (Bahamas), Charlotte Amalie (St. Thomas), Philipsburg (St. Maarten) and three days at sea.

  • Western Caribbean Cruises – The Freedom of the Seas cruises year-round from Port Canaveral, departing on alternating Sundays. Ports of call include Labadee, Ocho Rios (Jamaica), George Town (Grand Cayman), Cozumel (Mexico) and two days at sea. Starting in November 2010, the Western Caribbean cruise will change the Jamaican port from Ocho Rios to the new Falmouth terminal.
Bahamas Cruises from Port Canaveral

The Monarch of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean's smaller ships at just under 74,000 tons. She carries 2,744 guests and features children/teen facilities, a spa and a rock climbing wall. Dining options include a pizzeria and Jade, an Asian-fusion restaurant and sushi bar.

  • 3-Night Bahamas Cruise – The Monarch of the Seas cruises year-round from Port Canaveral, departing on Fridays. Ports of call include Nassau and the private island of Cococay. Passengers can even enjoy the evening in Nassau as the ship doesn’t leave until almost midnight.

  • 4-Night Bahamas Cruise – The Monarch of the Seas cruises year-round out of Port Canaveral, departing on Mondays. Ports of call include Cococay and Nassau, with a midnight departure from Nassau. There is also one day at sea on this cruise.
Christmas cruises will also be available on the Monarch of the Seas for 2009. Two 5-night cruises and two 2-night cruises are being offered over the two week holiday period. The 5-night cruises will include Nassau, Cococay and two days at sea. Both Christmas day and New Years day will be sea days. The 2-night cruises will feature the private island of Cococay as the port of call.
